Signs and Symptoms
Symptoms of meningitis may show up unexpectedly and include an intense headache, high temperature, chilly extremities, nausea, muscle and joint discomfort, stiff neck, sensitivity to light, drowsiness, bewilderment, seizures, and unconsciousness.
Infants and kids are especially vulnerable to this issue. In infants and young kids alike it can be tough to spot symptoms which might consist of not wanting to eat, unusual crying or groaning, being easily annoyed, seeming tired or unresponsive, twitchy movements or getting rigid or limp with fast breathing.
Blood infection due to meningitis may lead to a rash that appears red or purplish and remains visible when pressed upon.
